A Woman in Berlin

Carrying the word ‘Anonyma’ in its German title, this film is based on the memoirs of a woman who lived in Berlin when it was occupied by Russian soldiers in 1945. It gives a candid and sympathetic account of the mass rapes committed by the Red Army and the price women paid just to survive.
