Nine-year-old Abel comes out of a psychiatric ward to spend one week at home. His father has been absent for a long time. At home, Abel takes over his father’s place in the house. Mother and siblings humour him, leading to some strange situations. A darkly funny film – no surprise when the co-producers are Gael Garcia Bernal and John Malkovich!
