London River

After the 7 July terrorist attacks in London, two people come together to find out what
has become of their respective children. Elisabeth (Brenda Blethyn), a reclusive
Christian woman from Guernsey, and Ousmane (Sotigui Kouyaté), a French Moslem,
begin hopefully, but are beset by prejudice and despair. This is a portrait of post-terrorist
London with its ambivalent attitudes, but things end on a positive note.
