Grégoire Canvel is a busy, though apparently relaxed and charming, Parisian film producer, fêted for his support of important film makers. He is devoted to his family. Film seems to be his raison d’être, but this drags him ever deeper into debt until the crash comes. In vain does his wife remind him of his contribution to art and the love of his family, leaving them in agonising grief to pick up the pieces.
