Retired federal justice officer Benjamin Esposito is writing a novel based on an unsolved case that he worked on 25 years ago. He visits the judge for whom he worked at the time, and reignites old feelings between them. Events surrounding the crime are told in flashback, and progressively we understand why he is unable to let go. A superb performance from Ricardo Darín, and excellent support from Soledad Villamil and Guillermo Francella, along with the backdrop of political corruption in 70s Argentina create a film noir atmosphere and a compelling well-paced thriller.
